U.S. Constitution after 250 years

Our U. S. Constitution has been usurped by the kind of corrupt thinking that John Adams warned us about. The kind of thinking that can turn a phase or an Article far from its original intent and that honest, moral thinking people could never have imagined. We see that in our government and in our courts today. The true Constitution lasted only about 100 years before it began to be slowly corrupted as the people also became corrupted, just as John Adams predicted.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, before the ink on the Constitution had even dried, one man warned what would happen if America forgot why it was founded. That man was John Adams — fiery patriot, lawyer, president, and arguably the most brutally honest of all the Founding Fathers. Adams didn’t just fight for independence. He fought for character. And what he said then… feels like it was written for us today.
